Be there with BELLS on!

BOL, my titles kill me sometimes. :)  Hey gang, I know that a lot of you have heard about PoochieBells. Maybe just in concept instead of by name!

PoochieBells are these totally pawsome products that your human hangs from a doorknob. (Mine is on the back door.) Then any time you want to go outside, you just nudge it with your nose or your paw. The bells ring and.... here's the magic part... your human comes and lets you out RIGHT AWAY!!! OMD, it's so magical. You can go outside ANY TIME you want to! It's the next best thing to having a doggie door. Momma got bells for me as soon as she brought me home, and I've shown ALL our foster dogs how the magic works. It's so pawsome.

You know what's even MORE amazing than the magic of PoochieBells? Well, they have something called Saving Spot.

Saving Spot is PoochieBells' new project to help shelter and rescue pups. For EVERY purchase of one of their products, they'll donate a new collar to a shelter or rescue group. And guess what? LBR is their designated rescue for February/March 2013!!

That means every purchase you make in February and March helps out the dogs of LBR. And if you already have a set of bells, that's okay. They have these really fangtastic tote bags that Momma loves, and collars and leashes, and cell phone holders, and cool stuff like that too! Just make sure you're buying from the SAVING SPOT line to get credit to LBR!

We have bells on our doors too, but they are just ones fashioned by Mom. We may just have to paw at here to get us some nice ones like these and help out others at the same time.

What a pawesome partnership! We like anything that helps our humans to let us out and that helps other doggies in need.

Woo. We were never taught the bell thing - Mom hadn't heard about it until a few years ago. That's pretty cool - and great that they're donating to LBR!!!
PS: That Saving Spot thing reminds my mom too much of that color blind test that she fails. Ha woo.

OMD.... Casey.... be sure to send this info to SARGE so it will go into the Blogville Community Calendar!!!

We tried Bells with Ernie... HE chewed them OFF instead of ringing them. BaaaaaWaaaah. He preferred the Cheese fur Pees Plan I guess.

Our Mom bought some sleigh bells a very long time ago and most of us know what they're for. The silly puppies just like to play with them, but the rest of us know that they tell Mom to open the door.

We'll check out the sight anyway.

I've never heard of poochie bells but we have thrift store and indian bells hanging on all our house and garden doors. I tried teaching Georgia to touch them when she wants to go out, but she wasn't impressed. I have to continue to be psychic about her intentions ;)

Now that is a unique and clever idea. I read on some doggie blog that they were able to tell their peeps when they wanted to go out. I guess this is what they use.
Maybe I need one over my box MOL

Hi Casey! Mom is working on a product review of PoochieBells and was checking out their website and looked at the Saving Spot page and saw that they're supporting Legacy Boxer Rescue during February and March! We think that's awesome so we're gonna' tell everyone we know to buy Saving Spot products in March!

your pal,

Our pups are thinking this might work, but their bark at the door also seems to work pretty well, too :)
