I'll be home fur Christmas...
As a rescuer and the new Director of Housing and Foster Placement for Mayor Madi, my absolute favorite Christmas carol is "I'll Be Home Fur Christmas." Because as the holiday season draws near, there's nothing ANY dog wants more than his very own furever home on Christmas!!
LBR was so incredibly lucky this year, because we had a FLOOD of adoptions just in time to get a whole bunch of LBR pups home for the holidays. Here are the lucky pups who got a HOME for Christmas. (There's a WHOLE LOT of pictures, but every single one of these adoptions is from December 12th and later!)
And this one wasn't quite in time for Christmas, but Kristin was adopted yesterday and got a whole bunch of belated gifts, so I'll include it anyway!
WOW!!!!!!! All those homes for Christmas! It makes my heart all nice and warm and fuzzy. I hope that all of you were able to have Christmases even HALF as good as these lucky pups. Santa sure brought me what I wanted for Christmas -- homes for lots of my furiends! Now to find the rest of them homes for the new year!

It's our day!
Happy Boxer's Day to everyone! I hope your Christmas was as wonderful as ours was.
Here we are on Christmas morning. We weren't happy that Momma made us pose in our silly outfits instead of starting to open our PRESENTS! Just LOOK at that tree! Okay, there might be one or two things for Momma or Grandma or even Grandpa, but most of them have to be for us, right?
One more pose. I don't mind this one, because my momma is with me. That's Grandma and her dog Gracie with us.
Okay, okay, enough pictures, Momma! PRESENTS!!!!
Cinderella loved her new toy. It's a nice floppy blue puppy that she can shake and throw all over the house.
But the bestest present of all was my DRAGON!!!!!!!!
Look, he's trying to breathe fire, but I'm stopping him by biting his neck just right! You can tell he's a really REAL dragon because he screams every time I bite him, no matter WHERE I bite him. He has kind of a squeaky voice for a dragon, really, but you can't argue with the truth.
Momma, do you think maybe Santa Paws will come back again soon?

Sorry, no Christmas pictures yet 'cause Momma forgot the cord thingy that connects the flashy beast to the yaptop, so we have to wait until we get home from Grandma and Grandpa's. We had a lot of ice here, so we're waiting for the roads to thaw a bit.
Santa Paws was very nice to all of us. I got a real live DRAGON!!! I've been fighting with him almost nonstop to make sure he doesn't burn down the house or anything. It's exhausting. Momma got all happy 'cause she got something called a "KitchenAid stand mixer." I don't know what that is, but Momma says it will help her cook stuff. I hope that means she's going to try some of the dog biscuit recipes she's been saving!

Snuggle Saturday
I don't know if I can manage my usual lazy Saturday today, because THIS Saturday is only THREE DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS!!!! OMD, I'm so excited! Today Momma and Cinderella and me are packing up all the prezzies in the car and going to Grandma & Grandpa's house. Santa Paws will find us there Monday night, 'cause he's super smart and everything.
Fortunately, some of my LBR furiends have the snuggling down a little better, so I'll let you try to relax with them while I go check the window again. I know I heard sleigh bells this time!
