I would get in so much trouble...

If I tried coming home this dirty!! But Momma and the rest of the LBR peeps at the Mud Run had a totally pawsome time! It was grreat weather for a mud run, but not so much fun for the spectators -- mid-60s, lots of wind, and a misty rain. LBR had a booth set up at the run so people could learn all about us, and some of the LBR fosters came out to strut our stuff!

Then it was time for the big run!! Momma admitted to me later that she was pretty nervous, since she'd never done one of these before and the course looked pretty ruff. But I knew she could do it!

 The course was tough. Momma said she was in mud over her knees at parts, and the mud was so sticky that she could barely get her feet unstuck! She almost lost her shoes. And the water was still pretty cold. But she looks like she had fun!





 Afterward, Momma and the other runners were really proud of themselves, and I'm pretty proud of them too! Good job, Momma! I can't wait to hear how much money this raised for LBR!

Now I hope those runners all took a nice long BATH before going inside with all that mud on. BOL!

    OMD! We saw one of those once on TV and it looked like a blast! Way to go!! That's a lot of hard work running through all that wonderful and delightful mud. Sounds like something we'd like to do.

    OMPUG your momma is so brave, our momma would have drowned in those big mud puddles cos she is always a falling down ..just walking...i sure hope they raised alot of monies for those boxers!!

    Your Mama is crazy and covered in mud to prove it!!! :p But seriously, everyone is so good about raising funds in your rescue group. And you all look happy doing it too!! Sweet :)
