Snuggle Saturday: Puppy Edition!
Today's Snuggle Saturday features our sweet puppy Ares, one of the newest LBR dogs. His foster skin sister has decided that he's just the right size for dressing up, so that means the poor guy is spending a lot of time dressed like a princess. Siiiiiiigh. Poor kid's going to get a complex. But he said that the matching pink PJs are worth it, if it means getting storytime and snuggles from his favorite sis!
And there's some serious snuggling going on in one of our other foster homes! Guess what Tet was up to last night? She had a surprise for her foster momma! Her foster momma went to bed at midnight, and Tet was totally calm and composed. When her foster momma got up this morning, guess what she found?
Tet and her NINE PUPPIES!!! Let's home they all do well! Welcome to the world, puppies!

LBR is on puppy watch!
Everybody meet Miss Tet!
Isn't she just beeYOUtiful? I love the brindle ladies! This sweet girl turned up at a local shelter, covered in ticks and fleas and heavily pregnant. Of course, LBR sprang into action and broke her out of jail! Now she's settled in to her lovely LBR foster home, getting ready to welcome her pups in peace and comfort. Our vet estimates 5-8 pups from the X-rays. She's recently started nesting, so the pups could come any time!!
Oh, and one puppy's already here! This cutie isn't Tet's, but he is Baby Hercules's brother. His name is Ares, and we're glad that he's in much better condition than his baby brother. We're so glad to have you in the family, Ares!

B&W Sunday: Bye bye, Baby Hercules
I'm sad to report that little baby Hercules went to the Rainbow Bridge last night. He was met by lots of his LBR family who went before him, and he'll be big and strong and happy there. I'm sorry we couldn't save you, baby. :(

Snuggle Saturday, plus Power of the Paw needed!
It's Snuggle Saturday!!! I haven't gotten to enjoy one in months, with Momma at her silly Renny-sauce faire, but today we gets to snuggle again! We're sleeping in, then Momma says we're going to snuggle on the couch while she eats Cookie Crisp and watches cartoons. Woohoo!!

Baby Hercules was rescued by a volunteer this morning. He's a month old and is desperately emaciated. We're taking good care of him. He got a good, strong name to help him fight through. Good luck, Hercules! We're all pulling for you!
