Ball!!

I've never been much of a ball guy. Bigger balls I might bat around a little, but tennis balls I just ignore completely. They're just not a toy in my world. So Momma was surprised this morning to see Jessie all of a sudden get super excited and start playing like kerazy. She looked and saw Jessie had found the lone tennis ball we had tucked away in the toy box.

It made Momma happy to throw the ball for her a few times. She said it reminded her of my angel aunt Kaitlin, a yellow Lab who loved NOTHING in the world like her tennis balls. :)

Jessie has sure managed to get the CUTE thing down pat. I keep telling her she's already a furever dog, she doesn't HAVE to keep it up. But last night she told Momma she didn't want to sleep in the crate. Unsurprisingly, Momma agreed! Could YOU say no to this face?

  9. Our angel Masala LOVED balls, Jessie! Playing ball will be a fun exchange between you and your Mama over the years. And yes, our Mama herself could not say no to your sweet face so we suspect it would be very tough on your Mama to refuse you anything!!! We are so happy you are HOME!! :)

  10. OMD! Me too gurl!!! I LOVES me some balls!!! (no...not THOSE kind of balls! BOL) You gots to get your Moms to get you one of the Kong Squeaky tenny balls!!!! OMD they are the bestest! You can pull all the fuzz off of them and still have a (neekid) ball to play with! So far, I haven't killed too many of them, unlike tenny balls, which last like 2 seconds around me! ☺
Nows...who could resist THAT face??!! Obviously NOT your Moms!! BOL
    Nice work Jessie!
    Kisses,

  12. Oh our Angel Greta loved to play with balls! Can't believe Jessie was still sleeping in the crate and not on the bed - the rightful place of such deserving pups!

    1. She sometimes sleeps in the bed and sometimes in the crate. She's still having some housebreaking issues, so she'll sleep in her crate for a few nights after having an overnight accident.

  13. Awww, sweet Jessie!!! Ciara LOVES tennis balls too, but all she wants to do is rip them apart and then she tries to EAT them. Because of that, Mom pretty much bans tennis balls from our house. But every now and then we seem to find sone somewhere:)

Have lots of fun with those balls, Jessie.

  14. HA! No way could our mom say "no" to that face!!! No way, no how!!!
I like balls but Cammie doesn't. She'd rather de-stuff things.
