It's been a very exciting week for me. I've been learning everything there is to know from my foster brother Casey. He is SO smart! He knows where all the best pee mail is, and he always knows just what Foster Momma means whenever she makes the different funny noises. I don't really get "sit" yet, but I've learned to just do what Casey's doing and I'll get a treat! I've also learned how to go straight into my kennel when Foster Momma says the magic words, and then I get an EXTRA big treat. Wow! It's super exhausting learning all of this.
So after a few days, I decided to ask Casey for his advice on how I could make this my FUREVER home. We talked a lot, and he said not to rush into anything yet because there might be another even MORE pawfect home out there for me. He said that he almost stayed furever with his foster pawrents, but if he had, he never would've met Foster Momma! BUT he told me that if I DID want to stay, the best way would be to find little ways to be needed around here so Foster Momma would realize she couldn't live without me. Oooh, that's tough. I thought and thought, and I started trying things.
Furst, I became the computer supervisor.
And of course, Momma needs someone to check on her in the morning to make sure she's putting on her makeup right.
There's navigator, of course, so Foster Momma doesn't get lost.
And TV-watching buddy! I told Foster Momma I'll hold her paw during any skeery bits.
I asked my foster kitty Pigeon if she knew of any other jobs I could do around the house. She said that official kitty snuggler was a grreat job and it would impress Foster Momma a whole lot!
And of course, Face Cleaner Extraordinaire!
I'm getting exhausted from all this work, but it'll be worth it if it finds me my pawfect furever home!! Do YOU have any more suggestions?
