A hard day

Yesterday was a hard day for LBR. I told you about Gianni and Bravo sadly losing their fight against parvo. Their brother Gizmo is still fighting! We were happy for some life adding to the world after that when Flower had her first pup. Sadly, she labored for 12 hours to deliver 7 pups, but only 2 of them survived. :~~(

We want to focus on the good, though. Please meet handsome Mr. Clover, Flower's first-born, and his beeYOUtiful little sister Miss Iris. (Iris has the white collar markings.) Please give them all the good thoughts you can spare that they'll thrive where their siblings couldn't.

Godspeed, little puppies. Grow big and strong on the Bridge, and watch your brother and sister here!

  1. Oh we didn't know that the first puppies didn't make it, we were praying so hard for them,, and we are so sorry about the new little puppies. I wonder if someone at the rainbow bridge needed them more than us. I am so happy tho that these two little sweeties made it into the world and hopefully them and their mom will find wonderful homes very soon. They are beautiful!!

  8. Oh it's so sad to lose newborn pups. We lost one of Samba's and I still think about him. We wish the very best to Flower and her little ones.
