What a relief! The nice lady who cleans our house came on Monday -- except it wasn't the usual lady, it was someone else, and she put stuff back in WEIRD places. Momma had to hunt around for a lot of things. But she missed something. I kept telling her and telling her something was wrong, but she didn't understand.
Then finally... last night... we were reunited!!!
Yes, MY BALL was nowhere to be found all week! But last night I found the super sekrit hiding place. Momma doesn't know where it was, just that I came running in at TOP SPEED, doing zoomies all over the living room, jumping on and off the kitchen, and Ball was squeaking like crazy at how grreat it was to be reunited. It took a long time to calm down enough to even let Momma throw it for me.
Do you ever get cruelly separated from your toys?
Big boy has 3 giant balls, 3 medium chuck it balls, and loves them all so there is always one available. he has no other toys because he swallows things. so glad you found your zoomie ball... hope it doesn't get lost again.
ReplyDeleteoh how great that YOU found it back... we know that feeling when we miss our toys... and they mostly are really gone forever... or let's say the pieces of our toys are gone LOL
ReplyDeleteThose tennis balls can be mighty capricious! You have to watch them all the time, or else they'll hide under the furniture. Glad you got your tennis ball back! Have fun!
ReplyDeleteWhen my tennis ball is lost for even a few minutes, I search high and low until I find it. Our tennis balls are precious to us, right, Matilda!
ReplyDeleteI lose my ball all the time, thankfully it is always found, sometimes in very strange places. We are glad you found yours.

ReplyDeleteOh I can just imagine your joy, Matilda... that absence surely fonded your heart!!! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
Oh Matilda I can surely identify with things being misplaced. I know my way is not perfect but it seems to me that when one removes something from a particular place...they should remember where it was a put it back there. Just sayin'

How exciting that you found Ball, Matilda!!! We bet the two of you had a lot of fun celebrating together. We get excited when we discover a toy we haven't played with for a long time hiding at the very bottom of the toy box.

ReplyDeleteIf I can't find a particular toy, I just play with another one. Gail says that is the sign of a spoilt dog!
