Help me plan my barkday!

Guess what?! My 7th barkday is NEXT WEEK! It's so exciting! I've had some pretty pawesome barkdays over the years. I get to go to the pet store.

And get cakes.

And more cakes

And cheeseyburgers!!

But I told Momma this year that I didn't want a pawty or a cake or more toys. There's ONE thing that I want that's more valuable than any of that. Do you know what that is?

Momma time!! I told Momma that all I wants for my barkday is to spend it with HER. So Momma said that next Saturday (the day after my barkday) is Momma/Casey Day!! We get to do ANYTHING I WANTS!!!!!!!!

So here's where I need help, furiends. What should I do for my barkday? I don't know if I want something simple, like cheeseyburgers at Sonic and a trip to the dog park, or a long hike together, or something totally out of this world! So give me some suggestions. It has to be something we can do in one day, so no traveling more than a short drive and nothing that will take too much advance planning since it's next week. Give me your best ideas!

  1. We love the idea Casey, of having quality time with your Mom. We would have suggested a picnic in the park if the weather is nice. You can get your burger at Sonic, then head to the park where you can dine on a nice blanket while being hand fed by Mom. That would be the perfect day. Can't wait to see all the ideas Blogville comes up with.

  5. we always celebrate birthdays with a special picnic. Mom finds a nice quiet park, packs us all of our favorite foodables and off we go. She has a big old picnic blanket and after we have gone for a nice walk to work up an appetite we settle for for lunch and she hands feeds us every single morsel ! Then we go for another long walk to work off all the food :)

  6. WE vote fur a trip to the Dog Bark... Followed by a Stop fur CheesyBurgers at Sonic... followed by an evening of MOVIES... cuddled Close... WITH POPPY CORNS. THAT should do it.

  7. We don't go outdoors, so we might not be the best ones to give suggestions, but we think that many dogs like to swim. Do you? Well if you like to swim, you might want to combine that picnic with a swim in a pond, a lake or the ocean if you're near one.

In any case... looking forward to seeing what you decide to do....

  8. Trying to think of something with a 7 in it and all I can think about is 7/11 food store and rolling dice at the casino.

Maybe you can get a cake shaped like two dice to add up to 7?

  9. Casey, I am so happy your birthday is coming and I know it will be a wonderful day!! I think it depends on the weather, but I love a nice trip to the park and then a ice cream cone. I can't wait to find out what you will do.

  16. I'm with Reilly&Denny, a special picnic would be great... maybe with a special motto, like a german picnic, because you are a boxer :o) and if you have bad weather, you cold have this picnic at home in front of a chimney, with a blankie and a movie.
