Flashback Friday

Today's flashback is to January 2010, when my foster sissy Tiana lived with us. She was a grreat dog, and I loved playing with her!

She was a young pup and playful like Jessie, so I got my workouts in!

But I taught her a few things too!

Tia was adopted by a fangtastic family after just a month with us, and we still get updates from them sometimes about her. She's living the life!!

Thanks for all the POTP for Jessie. We're supposed to get the new blood test results sometime today, but we don't know when. We'll update you when we hear anything!

PotP for Jessie!

What the heck??? Jessie had some blood drawn yesterday for some tests, and the lab is saying today that she's in renal failure!! The vet is really surprised, so she's having Momma bring Jessie back at her lunch break today to draw fresh blood just to make sure it's not a lab error. Please keep your paws crossed!

Minor pupdate: Momma ran home at lunch and took Jessie back for a new blood draw. We're supposed to have test results tomorrow. Keep the POTP up!!

A very special birthday

A very happy 14th birthday to my kitty sister Pigeon!! (It was yesterday, but Momma wasn't able to get a post up thanks to all the kerazy problems I mentioned. Our water heater is fixed now, though. Yay!!) She celebrated with some tuna and lots of scritches from Momma. She said it was exactly what she wanted.

Pupdates

Sorry for the delay in posting this. Momma has been going a little kerazy busy around here. She ran a half-marathon on New Year's Eve . . . and then another on New Year's Day! Then when she came home from the second one, wanting to take a nice hot bath, she found that the hot water wasn't working. The plumber can't come until Monday, so she's showering at the gym for now. Fun stuff!!

We don't have much of an update on my weight loss. Momma heard from the dogtor today about my blood test results. They're completely pawfect, so the dogtor isn't sure what's causing my weight loss. We're going to do some x-rays to see if there are any masses or blockages, and if that's clear, she's going to chalk it up to me being more active with a little sister at home!
