Okay, yes, the tree is pretty and all, but I'm not a big fan of the Christmas season. Wanna know why?
Momma had to move the red ottoman by our chair into the bedroom so there'd be room for the tree! Just how am I supposed to snuggle next to her without it??
I just can't get comfortable!
I'm just saying I don't think Momma thought this through very well.

ReplyDeleteGood grief, whatever wuz the wummin thinking??? Keep working on it Matilda, I am certain you will find the optimum pawsishun. Maybe with mama on the floor in front? Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
with that last look, I am thinking she might get the idea to put that ottoman back where it belongs.. how dare she???
ReplyDeleteoh that's a problem... hard to stand such a christmess time, right?
ReplyDeleteMatilda, I totally sympathise. One year Gail bought a big Christmas tree to put in our front bay window. It was so big she had to shift the sofa where I like to sit looking out of the window and keeping an eye on what's happening in the street. I was very upset and barked a lot. Fortunately she's never made that mistake again...
ReplyDeleteToodle pip!
Bertie.
Well, you'll just have to take over Mom's chair until things go back to normal!
ReplyDeleteMatilda
ReplyDeleteAngel Madi never liked it when we moved the white chair away to the other side of the room away from it's normal place just for a tree

OMD....We think your Mama should maybe thiink about moving the TV into the bedroom so you can be in a "comfy friendly" environment!

Momma says I have a whole couch to lay on, but she's missing the POINT!
DeleteHopefully, your momma can rethink this and try and fit the ottoman in just for you, Matilda.
ReplyDeleteWe went through the same terrible hell at our house
ReplyDeleteSounds to us like you either need to get rid of the tree or move to a bigger house.
ReplyDeleteSometimes those momma's don't understand

Oh gurl....I gets it. Maybe she needs to do some re-positioning so YOUR ottoman can return to it's PROPER place??????? hint, hint, hint!!! (did it work???) YOu lets me know...in the mean time, I find whining works well....

You are right, Matilda. Your Mom didn't think it through. Our big red chair sits in front of the window where we lay and guard the house, so our Mom didn't move it to put up the tree like she usually does. She said it was for us, but we think maybe she used that as an excuse to not put up a big tree when she was already tired from moving a bunch of other furniture and undecorating from fall and redecorating for Christmas. Why can't the peeps just leave things the way they are? XOX Xena and Lucy
