Who's who??

Do your pawrents and furiends ever mix you up with a sibling? This never happened with Cinderella, because her kitty-pointed ears made us look very different. But Jessie and I look so much alike, I get it all the time! Fur example, just yesterday, I got all sorts of comments about how I looked rolling in the grass. But look...

BOL, that's Jessie!! See the cowprint collar?? And the tail? Fooled you!

This one's a little hard to tell, since the tail COULD be tucked in. But that one's me! See why there's so much trouble?

No tail for a clue, but you can just barely see her collar. That's Jessie! Boy, this is ruff.

100% Genuine Casey. Accept no substitutes!

Sometimes Momma even gets confused between us. She says it's really hard at night when we jump up in the bed. Before she could just pet our heads and tell me and Cinderella apart, but with me and Jessie she either has to reach around to feel for a tail or just try to tell the difference between our furs. (Jessie has really velvety fur. Grandpa calls her the Velveteen Boxer.)

So how about you, furiends? Do any of you get mistaken for someone else??

Oh, and guess what day today is??

Local groups are competing in fundraising today! All donations of $25 or more today at the North Texas Giving Day site will be totaled, and the groups in each size category raising the most will earn even more in prizes!! Last year we raised more than $20k in ONE DAY! Here's hoping we can do even better today!!

  1. Oops! You do both look very similar in those NON close-up shots! And we forgot about the tail/tail/less situation.Do you know that even Isadora and Duffy will be asked if they came from the same litter?!! They don't look alike at all and are not even the same breed but we guess people just see their similar fur colour and size and assume they are!

Good luck raising tons of green papers :)

  3. Stanley says he is studying the differences cuz he doesn't want Casey to play any tricks and try and do a slow dance with him! Believe it or not but me and Stanley have gotten mixed up and we aren't even the same color or size!

  9. Oh yeah!! Mom and Dad are the only ones who can tell Lola and Bailey apart. Sometimes at night Mom has to check collars just to be absolutely sure when she's giving out medicine. Bailey wears a narrow collar and Lola wears a wide one so she can just touch and know who is who.

    1. Seeing double? Maybe your Momma was drinking the special stuff? You are totally recognizable Casey and especially with your adorable nub nail and Jessie is always so happy and smiling, it's pretty obvious who is who to me! I can't really get mixed up with anyone in my family, Jasper is a shnauzer, Ernie is a Springer Spaniel and Coffee is a Lhasa Apso so we are all very different but our names are always interchangeable! 10. I don't think I resemble anyone else but I often mistake my Mom for a sofa and try and take a nap on her.

  11. BOl, we often aren't sure:) So we look for some hint of he or she or else we just avoid using any names or sex references in our comment:) But no matter, you are both beautiful!!!

  12. Well I don't have a sibling so there is no confusing me. But I confuse myself with the mirror on the back of the bathroom door. Why that doggie in there has my collar and my tail, he is a duplicate for sure. You know Casey just as long as they call you for dinner I would not worry about the sib.
    Thanks for being a fiend

  13. It might be cool to look alike, if you can get extra treats cause she forgot which one she gave the treat to. I hope lots of moneys are raised.

  14. Well, I have to say - Mom is starting to confuse us a LOT! And the other day? Our dad started singing the theme song to the Patty Duke Show -- do you know that show? "But they're cousins, identical cousins..." Sometimes, it's pretty funny!
    Cammie!
PS: Sorry we got so behind commenting - Mom's been working like crazy in the garden!

  15. You need to work the twin thing to your advantage! We get bonus treats sometimes because Mommy furgets who she gave the treat too since we look similar, especially if we are jumping around in excitement about the treat.
