Sorry we're so quiet

As you can tell, Jessie and I are busy leading full and exciting lives right now. Unfortunately, Momma is a little kerazy busy at work, so she hasn't been updating the blog as much. We hope to get back into the swing of things next week. We can't miss Howl-o-ween, after all!

Frightful Friday

OMD, you'll never believe what skeery looking characters turned up in OUR front yard!

BOL, don't worry! That's just Ichabod and Elvira. They usually can be found snoozing in the corner of the garage, but every October they come out to guard our house from all the ghosts and goblins that show up this time of year.

But look! They have a new friend!

Pigeon was sad that there was no kitty representation in the graveyard, so Momma fixed THAT right away! This little cutie is named Raven. (Quoth the Raven: meow!)

My birthday adventure!

So yesterday was my 10th birthday! Turning double digits is a pretty big deal, so yesterday night Momma took me out on my own birthday adventure.

OMD, we got to go visit Lowe's! I love it there -- they all allow dogs, but not a lot of dogs come, so people are always super excited to see me. AND I wore my Birthday Boy bandana so everyone knew it was a special day. I got lots of pettings, and I got to sniff SO many new scents!!

 Then we hopped back in the car. I thought that was the end of the adventure, but Momma said we had one more stop. This is my smile as I realized we were pulling into SONIC!

 Ahhh, they always get my water just how I like it! And then -- BIRTHDAY CHEESEYBURGER!!!!

 Finished in no time!

Afterwards, we headed back home, and Jessie and I shared birthday cookies. What a fangtastic day!

Thanks to everyone who sent me birthday wishes. It was the best birthday I've had in at least a year! BOL

Double digits!!

Guess what, guys?

I'm 10 years old today! Yup, I hit the big 1-0, double digits! It seems like just yesterday I was celebrating my second birthday, my furst one with my momma.

I'm a little grayer in the muzzle and like to nap more than run, but otherwise I'm the same Casey! Momma say we're going to have a little adventure tonight to celebrate. I'll report on it tomorrow!

Momma pawticipated in a craft exchange and got this as her gift in the exchange. They list different things they like, and Momma listed (among others) dogs, Doctor Who, and Wonder Woman. Her gifter got our pictures off her Faceybook and painted these herself. Momma cried when she opened them. I think I might have to put on a fez this Halloween. I look pretty cool, don't I?

Rainy days

I think Momma has furgotten the point of rainy days. When it rains, we lay in bed ALL day, curled up listening to the sound. Instead, Momma actually got UP and made US get up and get out in the rain!
