Yup, Momma made the bed up around me this morning instead of making me get up like usual! BOL! My secret? Well, in the wee hours of this morning, I was repositioning and stretching a bit, and, uh...well, I kinda fell off the side of the bed. I tell ya, folks, you know you're getting old when falls don't bring laughs but urgent "are you okay???"s. I wasn't hurt, so I pretended like I just wanted to go potty.
So then this morning, I got all comfy in bed, and Momma came in to make it. She usually makes us move for that, but she said "awww" and then made the bed around me. Score!!! She took my picture and said something to Auntie about not having the heart to make me move after I wounded my dignity last night. Whatever. It worked!
yes... score!!!! enjoy a day in bed with treats and a fab show in tv :O)

ReplyDeleteYou've got the best Mom. We have to get up when the peeps do. Sometimes Mackey sneaks back to bed after breakfast but most of us snooze in the living room.

Thanks for the tip Casey! I did try that once, and it worked...til I forgots that I was 'faking' and was walking all normal, and Ma was back to her normal "gets off my pillow' self. sigh.
