Tired of the pupperazzi

OMD, I discovered there's something worse than our pawrents not going to work and interrupting our nap schedule!! When they're bored, they want to take pictures of you. ALL THE TIME!!! Is anyone else experiencing this phenomenon?

 Not now, Momma, I'm bored of pictures!

I was inspired by some of my super-cute puppy pictures that I posted for National Puppy Day. I thought I'd try to recreate one now.

I don't fit quite as easily anymore. Hrmph. But it was still comfy!

National Puppy Day

Yesterday was National Puppy Day, so I thought I'd share a few cute flashback pictures of yours truly.

 I know, I was SO cute! I don't quite fit in Momma's arms like that anymore, but we still snuggle!!

A dog's work is never done

This weekend I kept very busy. Momma is getting lots of extra time for her cross-stitching, and I helped!

Nature Friday

Happy Friday, folks! It's been one WEIRD week, that's fur sure. Momma is "working from home until further notice," which I thought would be grreat because she's home! But she spends the day sitting at our dining room table, frowning and tapping at her yaptop, instead of playing with ME! It's really weird. But at least I don't have to spend the day in my crate and can roam around with my doggy door open. And the best part, we've been taking extra walks!!

It's rained a lot, so not as many walks as Momma wanted, but it's still nice. We'll go out for longer times, including going up to visit my duck buddies at the pond.

"How's it going, duck buddies?"

"It's been quackers around here, Matilda!" 

Yeah, they said everything is a little nuts. Their pond is right across from a school, and it's been super quiet like it's summer even though it's not. They're not sure what's going on.

Of course, the drawback to walking by the pond is Momma is desperate to get a good picture of me by the pretty tree with the pond behind me. She tries every time. It's nice for her to keep having a goal to aim for, right?

 She can keep trying! BOL! Until next time, folks, try to enjoy nature and time with your pawrents.

Some of you might be saying, "But Matilda, my humans say there's a quarantine going on! That means we all have to be careful in celebrating so we don't get sick." Well, yes, there's some silly human stuff going on right now. BUT don't let a silly thing like that prevent you from celebrating pawperly. You can wear your festive green AND still stay quarantine-safe!

So happy St. Patrick's Day to all of you! I hope you get some extra noms tonight for wearing these silly outfits in honor of the blessed saint!

You may have noticed that this is a very stressful time for humans. Whenever they're foolish enough to watch the news instead of Netflix, they get lots of bad news that makes them worry. Apparently some idiots are hoarding toilet paper instead of just chewing and shredding it like a normal person? Events and trips are getting canceled, from little things to big ones that your humans have been looking forward to for months. And then, at least in Texas, our weather keeps going up and down, now rain now sun now fog, and it gives humans even bigger headaches. So in these trying times, we have a pretty big job.

 "Don't worry, Momma, you'll get to see the show another time."

"Lay down until your head feels better, Momma. I'll keep your feet warm."

"You don't have to worry about anything while I'm here."

Remember to keep calm to keep your human reassured. We can get them through this!

Folks, I'm starting to get a little concerned about my momma. I'm thinking she might have some of that human dementia stuff. She furgets stuff ALL the time, so she's always having to ask me questions. "Who's a good girl?" "Who's Momma's girl?" "Who's my pretty baby?"

Uh, Momma, I'm the only one here...

I don't know, she might just be totally losing it! Is there anything I can do to help her?
