So close!

Jessie and I stepped up the campaign this morning, and we almost had Momma convinced to stay with us instead of going to work. The trick was, we got her to lay back in bed and then we curled up super close and comforting.

Jessie took her feet, and I curled up on her arm and chest. You know, just close enough to stare soulfully into her eyes.

We were SUPER close! We laid there for ages. But finally Momma got up and rushed into her work clothes and out the door. SIGH. Anyone else have suggestions?

  3. The only thing I can think of for you to do is have a giant fundraiser and raised enough money so mama can retire

  9. Would you believe Mom left us twice yesterday? She went to the doctor and was gone for a long time. She came home to check on us, then left us again to go to the store. It's totally unfair!!

  12. We were blessed with work at home day, so even though she ignored us and looked at the computer all day, we could guard our mom. We will try that tomorrow.

  14. That would have worked with my mom, but she is allowed to work from home a couple of days a week, when there are lots of reports to write or cases to review. Try waving a cinnamon roll in front of her.

  15. Lucy moved to Colorado....long story short. She was adopted by my Uncle who was a confirmed bachelor...at age 52 he met his lady love. He found out she was allergic to cats. Fast forward 2 years they were engaged. My uncle found a very nice young couple (he was a grad student at NCSU) to adopt Lucy. They moved to Colorado for his Post Doc.
