I hope everyone had a grreat Thanksgiving! We spent it at Grandma and Grandpa's house. Sorry for not posting, but I spent most of the time like this...
That was us watching the Paws for a Cause special on Thanksgiving night. Did any of you watch it? They were talking the whole time about how pawesome rescue dogs are and how to help! It was warming to our rescuer's hearts.
After we got home, it was time to put up Christmas decorations! Christmas is VERY big in our house, so there was a lot of snoopervision to do. Momma like to get ornaments for events in her life, so every year decorating the tree is unwrapping memories. Here are our ornaments:
I bet you can figure out which ones are the kitties'! BOL. Mine is the collar that says "Top Dog", of course, 'cause I'm the top dog in the house! (My name and adoption year are on the back of the bone.) And Cinderella's is the toy soldier, because it looks just like her. (Her name and adoption year are on the top of the hat.) Do you have your own ornaments on the tree?
And here's the tree all decorated:
And finally, of course, the stockings!
The stockings are (L-R) Cinderella's, mine, Momma's, Scribbles's, and Pigeon's! All ready for gifts.
The only decorations left to add is my big Door o' Christmas Cards to put Momma's little display to shame. BOL! Our furst Christmas card arrived on Saturday, and sure enough, it was for ME! Thanks, Frankie and Ernie, you started us out on the right paw.
We spent most of our Thanksgiving weekend napping and decorating too!!! Your place looks so very festive Casey!!

My mom's first question is how you guys are able to leave the tree skirt alone, we have no tree skirt or decorations on the bottom of our tree cos we are rather naughty....beautiful tree.

We're just pawfect, I guess! BOL! Cinderella and I have never had any interest in the tree. The kitties mostly leave it alone too, except Scribbles like to lay under it and sometimes nibble on the lower branches. Momma has to straighten the tree skirt sometimes, but not too much. And she doesn't hang any ornaments on the very lowest branches -- and all the ones with bells really high up -- so to not tempt the kitties too much!
DeleteOur stockings are up too but no fireplace at our house. Fa, la, la, la la . . .
