Last night, Patches suddenly collapsed and went to the Bridge. He had a mass on his heart that exploded suddenly. He went very quickly without pain. I know that his last two months of life were as happy as they possibly could have been, and he's free of all pain now at the Bridge. His foster family misses him very much, and so do the rest of us.
Run free, Patch Man! We'll never forget you.
I just knows all your hearts are broken. I just knows it BUT also know that he was blessed that he went to the Bridge knowing love and what a true blue family is like to haves. It was a gift that was given him that. WE are so very sorry for his momma and daddy cos we can tell by that picture how much he was loved. We also knows when they are ready he would want them to pass all that love onto another boxer that needs them.

So sorry for your loss. It's very hard to lose them. :( Glad he went without pain.
ReplyDeleteMom Kim here - oh I am so very sorry that Patches has crossed the Bridge. It is never easy to lose a furry 4-legged companion but when that loss is so sudden and unexpected - that must be so difficult but maybe knowing how much he was loved and crossing the Bridge without pain helps. Maybe knowing too that even now at the Rainbow Bridge he is again frolicking like a young pup and fat and sleek again.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about the Patch man. Run free.
ReplyDeleteOh no we are so sorry about Patch Man...run free sweet Boxer....hugs to LBR and his foster family.

WE are broken hearted to hear this.
ReplyDeleteThat breaks my heart. Poor little baby superhero he had made such progress. At least he got to know what love feels like. So sorry for everyone's loss.
ReplyDeleteAroo to you,
Sully
I am so very sad to hear this news, but I'm glad that his last two months were with people who cared about him and loved him. I'm also glad to know that there are people to be sad that he's passed away, instead of not being loved and missed.

We are sad to hear Patches left so suddenly without any time for his foster family to adjust to the possibility of his departure. But we know he was loved and cherished and surrounded by loving and concerned individuals in the last few months of his life and we are so thankful for that. We send our condolences to his kind foster family. Rest in peace sweet boy.
