Goddess of Night

I want to send the Power of the Paw to my new cousin Nyx! She was just rescued by LBR after she turned up very sick in a shelter. She was found in a ditch and didn't want to drink or eat. No one was quite sure what was wrong with her, but we knew she needed medical attention!


So LBR sprang into action! A foster home stepped up for her, and an LBR volunteer got her OUT of that shelter and straight to one of our vets. There's a large mass in her chest that he can see on X-rays but isn't sure what it is. We're thinking it's trauma from being hit by a car, so we're watching it for a few days to see what happens.

Her foster momma named her Nyx after the goddess of the night, for her pretty dark coloring. I know Nyx will be better in no time with all the grreat care she'll get from LBR and the love from all her cousins and new furiends!
