Okay, so on Sunday morning, Momma packed up the Matildamobile, and we headed to Grandma and Grandpa's house! It's only my second time to ever go there, and I was eager and a little anxious.
"They'll remember me, won't they?"
There was no need to worry, because Grandma said "Matilda!' and loved all over me as soon as we came in the door. PHEW! And the best part -- Aunt Gracie remembered me and was super duper excited to see me too.
"Aunt Gracie? Aunt Gracie? Aunt Gracie?"
On Christmas Eve, Gracie and I bonded a bit when we had to open presents Uncle Adam sent.
"And I thought Uncle Adam loved me..."
Then at long last, the BIG DAY arrived! I tried to stay up to hear Santa coming, but dawg, I just passed out next to Momma after playing with Gracie all day. On Christmas morning, Momma wanted to pose for pictures, but I wasn't really feeling it.
"Momma, I see presents! Do they have my name on them?"
"Aunt Gracie, are we EVER going to get to presents?!"
It was so hard, but it was WORTH it! I got a fresh antler as the very furst gift before ANYONE. Then I was super busy chewing on it for ages and ages. I think Momma and Grandma and Grandpa got presents, but I wasn't paying much attention. (Momma said something like "just as planned," but I don't get it.) Then I got to open my own presents, and I gots cookies and a rope toy and cookies and a great big squishy bone toy from Grandma and did I mention COOKIES?! It was the best!!

So from Momma and me (and Pigeon, who opened her stocking at home and said she was happy to get some peace and quiet), a very merry Christmas to all!
Looks like a pawsome day.
