Happy howlidays to our pawesome shelters & vets!

Every year, LBR sends a special thanks out to all the amazing shelters that help so many dogs each year. We have a close relationship with many shelters in the Dallas/Ft.Worth area, so when they have boxers that need homes, they'll work with us to get them in foster care. So every year, LBR volunteers say THANK YOU to these shelters by bringing them gift baskets. In addition to treats and stuff from their wish lists for the animals in their care, we make sure to throw in some human treats so these PAWESOME shelter volunteers know how much we appreciate them! We also deliver baskets to the AMAZING vets who help LBR dogs. Here are just a few of the more than 70 baskets delivered this year.

PeeS: We heard from Uncle Adam yesterday that Cousin Bear passed to the Rainbow Bridge. He had been part of the family for a long time, over 14 years, and transformed from wild and crazy pup to venerable old man. He and Angel Casey knew each other for a long time. We're so sorry to hear he's gone, but we know he's running like kerazy up at the Bridge, as he never stopped wanting to even when his body told him he couldn't anymore.
