Presenting...our most beeYOUtiful nature-y flowers...our new Memorial Garden.
This has been a slow work-in-progress because Momma still has that annoying boot on her foot PLUS we've had super-duper wet weather that made digging, uh, challenging. Furst we planted the rosebushes that we bought at LBR's Mums & Roses sale, then added rosemary in the back for remembrance. (It'll get a LOT bigger.) Then I closely snoopervised the placement of our angel memorial stones and St. Francis of Assisi to watch over them.
"Looking pretty good, Momma!"
Well-weathered stones for Cinderella and Scribbles that were out at our old house, plus the new ones for Casey and Jessie that hadn't come out yet.
So there you have it! Momma wants to put a stone border around it eventually, but we're going to call it done for now! I'm happy to have a place to go honor my great-brothers and great-sisters that came before me. I may not have known them, but I know the pieces they left in Momma's heart!
that is a very beautiful place to remember and to sped some time with your fur angels...

Your memorial garden is lovely and such a touching way to remember the Angels. Mom has always loved those stones and says one of these days she will get one for each of our Angels too.
ReplyDeleteThe roses are still pretty, especially given the cold weather and little bit of snow we have here.
