Nobody knows the trouble I've seen!
Nobody knows my sorrow!
Nobody knows the trouble I've seen!
Glooooooory hallelujaaaaah!
Yup, folks, the dogtor said I have to stay in my cone 24/7 while my stitches heal up. AND I'm supposed to not be so active. This is the worst EVER!!! I have pills to make my infection go away, and pills to make it not hurt so much, and pills so I don't run around like a 6 month old boxer. Siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh. I think puppies would've been less trouble.

Oh Matilda! You'll have the cone off before you know it. Just rest up, sweet girl. We're sending you lots of mojo to help you heal.
ReplyDeleteoh we hope it is over soon dear Marilda... I think puppies are more difficult, at least the mama said so as I was a puppy ;O)
ReplyDeleteso sad for you Matilda...
ReplyDeleteMatilda darlin' oh yes....the trouble you have seen. I'm sorry you have an infection...dang it and some pain. That sitting still is HARD. Many many moons ago when I had my surgery mom nearly passed out when the vet told her, 'don't let her jump for 10 days'. Mom replied, you do know she is a cat right? Short of leaving me at the vet in a cage for 10 days there was not way I was not jumping. And jump is the first thing I did when I came home.

ReplyDeleteWill it help if we sing with you?!?
We're so sorry you're going through all of this. Try really hard to do what your mama tells you to, though - OK? I mean, we don't ALWAYS recommend that, but in this case - yes. THEN you'll be all healed up and can run around doing zoomies to your heart's content!
Sending prayers!!!
Yours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher
