Foster Friday

Helllllloooooo! Can you hears me? Is this thing on??

Oh, good, there we are! Hello, everybuddy, it's LBR foster Jessalyn here for another Foster Friday update! As you might can tell from my picture above, I'm feeling a little bit grumpy lately. Foster Momma says I'm at that point in heartworm treatment recovery where I feel better but I still can't be active. So I wants to PLAY but Foster Momma won't LET me. HRMPH!  So I'm doing a lot of this.

It's not so bad. I get to snuggle a lot with Foster Momma, and there are some really comfy dog beds around here. I've been mostly good and don't have to spend too much time in my crate to force me to stay calm.

I'm almost to the halfway point of my recovery, so I'll be off those restrictions in just over two weeks. PHEW!! Unfortunately, though, a few of my potty issues are troubling Momma -- I pees and pees and pees and pees, and my, uh, other stuff isn't very solid. So after I'm done with heartworm recovery, I'm going to have a few more tests to see if it's something boring like an infection or something a little harder to work out. I'll keep you all posted on that!

It's nice to have such a grreat foster brother to keep an eye on me while I'm recovering, though. I feel so safe and secure!

  4. Jessie, it must be so difficult for a young pup like you to stay calm all day. We think you are doing very well! We hope the pee flow resolves itself or is an easy fix :)

  6. Good girl, Casey. We sure hope all these problems are just due to your body reacting to the heartworm treatment. And Casey really IS a great brother.

  8. It really is hard to be quiet when you're feeling better and wanting to play. Just be patient a little longer and it will pay off.
