Another Osha Update!

An update straight from Osha's pawesome foster momma:

"This week has been interesting and very rewarding. Although Osha still isn't finding her stuffed animals all that interesting, she has started to play! We invite her as she still isn't sure if it's "OK" but by jumping and running around her with excitement, she now gladly follows along. Before, she was confused and uneasy. She's now picked up on routine as well. I no longer have to coax her to bed at night or lead her outside with direction. She now asks and has also learned her snack time by reminding me with a walk up stare .. I've never had a "completely" deaf Boxer, so I myself am having to learn her language as well by paying close attention to her as she must do with me and the rest of my fur gang.

They have also been a wonderful teacher to Osha. We have seen pictures of Osha as she is recovering, but I think it's time for her to feel pretty, so we added some flowers. Her beauty is shining through, even though we still have a road ahead of us. I will be taking some action shots for her next update. Bless you all for the support you continue to give. Osha wants to give a special shout out to the Hawkins Elementary School for keeping her in your thoughts and prayers ...... Everyone stay safe and enjoy your summer!! ~Bronwen"

Way to go, Osha!! You look beeYOUtiful in your flowers. It sounds like you'll be ready for a playdate soon!

  2. Osha looks wonderful and 200% better than in her original rescue photo! It's so nice to be able to read a story with a happy outlook. And Osha's story will have a very happy ending, I'm sure. Thank you for all that you do for these pups.
