Humans putting on airs
I swear, my momma lately... I believe in keeping humans on a very strict schedule. They grumble sometimes, but they really are happier for the routine. So every morning, we have the same routine. We wake up and Cinderella and I take Momma for a brisk morning walk to wake her up. Then Momma gives us our morning medicine and feeds us breakfast. After that, I help her make the bed, then relax while she gets dressed for work.
Well, yesterday, we'd just finished breakfast, so I head into the bedroom. But Momma was being lazy, standing around doing other stuffs instead of coming in to make the bed like she was supposed to. I danced by the bed to remind her, and do you know what she said?? "We'll make the bed when I want to, Casey." The nerve!!!! And then this morning, we'd already slept through the "suggestion" alarm, and then turned off the "no really, get out of bed now" alarm, and Momma was still in bed, grumbling. I had to get Cinderella's help before we could prod that lazy human out of bed for her walk! Honestly, I'm at my wit's end. What do you do when your humans get this way?
PeeS: Don't furget, Madi's Queen of Hearts Dance is this Friday!!! There are going to be lots of fun events, including a KISSING BOOTH right here on the Chronicles!

to funny, Casey. we humans in this house don't have and alarm, we have a live one named JAKE... he gets us up and will not stop until we get up. Baby is the one that likes HER bed made...this means I move the red blanket from HER chair in the bedroom to HER spot on the sofa, she alreday has a pillow there, but I have to spread the red blanket, smooth is flat with my hands or The Princess stands there until i do.....
ReplyDeleteWe also have a routine at our house Casey, momma gets up, and we got potty and then we eat while momma drinks her coffee, then we sit on her lap for like five more min. and then hers has to put her makeup on and go to work, and then we sleep until hers gets home. she nevers makes her bed until the evening...um...
