Finding the new normal

Momma and I are trying to get back to normal after all the trauma of last week. We're enjoying getting to spend some time together, like when she took me on a walk and let me fulfill a treasured dream -- I got to climb on the playset at the park!


Pigeon and I are also spending some more time snuggling too! This weekend, Momma and I spent a lot of time over at Auntie's house. She played at her Renny-sauce faire -- she said it was refreshing getting to be someone else for a little while -- and I snoozed played super hard with the cousins.

Thank you so much to Abby Lab and her Momma for these beeYOUtiful flowers! We love our Blogville furiends so much.

    It's so hard when one of our pups crosses the bridge. So many reminders. I used to count out treats, then remember that I needed fewer. I'd fill the dinner bowls, then realize that I had filled too many.We're feeling very sad for your Mama right now.

    Hi Casey'n his momma - Lady Shasta here. There iz nuthin'normal when your furry companion goez over the Rainbow Bridge an'it will hurt - fer awhile butt it evenchually startz to hurt less'n less an'mem'riez of all the good timez take over. I'm not gonna sugar coat it an'say all the hurt goez away cuz I still c my mom git real sad every so often an'I can tell she iz thinkin'bout my bruther who iz now Angel Shiloh. Even tho she brought me a new sissie like 87 million dayz later (about 14 months), who we both love a whole lot, we both know thingz will never b quite the same around here butt yes, we haf slowly found our way to a new normal.
