Surprise!!

Sometimes rescue work can be full of surprises! Look at my sweet cousin, LBR foster Shyanne. She's been at her foster home for a few days, and the vet told us that she'd probably recently had puppies. (Update: That was to explain why she looked pregnant. He said she wasn't pregnant, she'd just had puppies recently before she'd been rescued.) Well....


It's REALLY recent!! Last night Shyanne surprised everybody by introducing her son.

Then a little while later, out came her second boy!

Shyanne and her boys are doing just fine. They're all going to visit the vet today to make sure everything is okay.


 Welcome to the LBR family, little ones! We weren't expecting you, but it's so nice to meet you!

    so precious and a wonderful story. so do you think she had puppies and where are they.. or did the vet pull a boo boo when he said she had puppies..

    how cute they are... I hope this two little pups will find wonderful homes. Do you know the story of Shyanne? Have her former owners abandoned her with knowing that she will have puppies?

    Are you going to take dem to da same vet dat said she wasn't pregnant? Dat ought to be an interesting visit. hehehe

    Oh what a wonderful surprise that must have been, they look so precious, so teeny tiny and cute, puppies are just so adorable and Shyanne sure is one gorgeous looking Momma!
