Let's get ready to PAWTY!

Furiends, I have an announcement! My good buddy Ranger posted his monthly list of wacky holidays, and I saw something very impawtant. September 20th is this year's OKTOBERFEST!! If you don't know much about it, that's a traditional German festival. They drink lots and lots of beer and eat wurst (that's sausage to us Americans).

That sounds like a pretty pawesome pawty to me. Boxers are German, you know! So... how about the Furst Annual Blogville Oktoberfest?! So what does Oktoberfest mean? Well...there's beer.

And oom-pah bands

 And beer.

People in funny outfits.

And more beer!

Fun times! If you would like to pawticipate, please send me your picture by NEXT Friday, September 12th. It can be a picture of you in German gear or celebrating with some beer and wurst, or just a picture on your own and I'll make Momma work MY magic on it to get you in the pawty mood!

If anyone else wants to do some Oktoberfest events, please join in. The more the merrier! I just have to make sure we have enough BEER!

Edit: Whoops! Thanks to Lassie and Benji for pointing out that I didn't tell you WHERE to send your pictures. Uh-oh. I'll blame Momma! :)  Send your pictures to me at dreagoddess(at)gmail(dot)com. Thanks!

Off to check the fridge for what's a-brewing:)

Thanks for the tip for Phantom, Mom is filing all these ideas. She brought home a bunch of different styles and sizes of inflatables tonight after another trip to the petstores and we may have found one that will work. He can get in and out of the crate and the ring isn't too heavy. The last test is to see if it prevents him from getting at his tail. Thanks again.

We wanted to come over and introduce ourselves Casey, we are the "other" campaign team ! We don't know how we missed you moving into Blogville!

This pawty sure looks like a fun time and just the ticket for relaxation away from the campaign!! We are going to send Dory and Jakey if that's ok. We think they will need a break from all the campaigning!! Mama is going to get pictures of them ready and send them off this afternoon!!
