Do you know what today is, Blogville? It's DATE DAY!! It's finally here. I've been waiting and waiting for the chance to take out my beeYOUtiful Maggie Mae. Siiiiiiiigh. She's so wonderful. I rushed right over to pick her up in my snazzy convertible.
She said I looked SO handsome in it. Well, the lady's right! She wanted to know where I was taking her, but I said it was a SURPRISE. We drove all the way to Cally-fornia and drove along the coast for a while. She really liked the wind whipping her ears around. Then I made her close her eyes until we arrived at....
SURPRISE!
Yes, where better than to take a gawjuss girl like Maggie Mae than the happiest place on Earth?! You just can't beat Disneyland.
Maggie Mae was so surprised! She said she felt like a puppy again. We went for a ride on the carousel, just like in Mary Poppins. (Our horsies stayed on the ride, though, they didn't go running off on their own. They were very well behaved.) Then we went for a spin in the teacups!
I had to get some mouse ears for us both, of course, Isn't Maggie Mae pretty in her little Minnie ears?
We finished everything off with a front-row view for the amazing fireworks show. It was SO perfect! Maggie Mae and I watched the fireworks shoot off, and barked a few times, and maybe I finished the night with a gentlemanly kiss. (A gentleman would never tell, after all!)
I'm so glad that my Maggie Mae could join me on such a pawesome day. Thank you for being my girl. And thank you Sarge for hosting such a pawesome event!
We thought we saw you smooching as you were driving by
