Miracles and Birthdays

Furst, I want to thank EVERYONE who sent the Power of the Paw yesterday to sweet little Miracle. If you missed yesterday's post, Miracle was rescued from the shelter but then started crashing at the V-E-T's office. Her temperature was so low it couldn't even be measured (under 92), and her white blood counts were ridiculously low. The V-E-T thought it was either liver failure or extreme starvation, and he gave her less than a 50% chance at making it.

But then the Power of the Paw came through! Miracle is still with us and still fighting! Her temperature is up to 97 and she's eating soft food, WOW!! She's still very weak and has a long way to go, but with all the Power of the Paw behind her, I just KNOW she'll pull through!

 "Thanks for all the support, everyone! I'll keep fighting!"

Second, I want to wish my kitty sister Pigeon a very very HAPPY birthday!! She is 11 whole years old now! Just like Cinderella -- Momma has two 11-year-old princesses. Pidge got a can of tuna all to herself and lots of extra scritches and cuddles. Happy birthday, sissy!

Still beautiful after all these years.

    We did miss yesterdays post cos of all our own excitment but we are so glad to see miracle doing much better, we are sending her an extra special power prayer and hugs!!! Happy Birthday kitty kat!

    I can not tells you how happy I am to read Miracle is pullin' through. Da power of da paw really does work. We will continue to pray fur her recovery. We read it yesterday but wasn't able to comment.
