Getting ready for the Olympics!


The Blogville Olympics are coming up fast!!  I'm hosting the KEEP AWAY! event on August 4th. You all know this game. I bet you play it with your peeps all the time! So now's the chance to show off your best moves! Why are you the best there ever was at Keep Away? Can you run really fast, jump really high, or are you just sneaky? Whatever your secret is, I want to see it! Send me pictures (no videos!) of you playing Keep Away with your humans, your siblings, your furiends -- anybody! Be creative, and have fun!

I will begin accepting your pictures on JULY 9th. You can send them to me at dreagoddess(at)gmail(dot)com. The deadline for pictures is MIDNIGHT on JULY 18th. (All times are US Central Time.) Please put "Keep Away" in your subject line so I'll be able to find your pics right away! And don't forget to give me your name and the name of anyone else in your pic. You can enter ONE picture per animal. If there's more than one of you in your household, you can enter all in one picture or one picture for each of you, your choice!

And here's a message from the Blogville Olympics Committee:
THE OLYMPIC Committe MUST INSIST that All ATHLETES be ENTERED by Midnight July 18th.  in order for the athlete to be SCREENED fur Bugs.       The Peep Athletes have to be Screened fur DRUGS... butt WE of Blogville are above that!    However, we gotta be sure that no Fleas get in...          Complain to FRANKIE if you don't like the deadline.   


PeeS: My good buddy Garth Riley is hosting a silly photo contest! Man, I am ALL over that one. I'm combing through my photos to see which one I want to enter. Obviously first place is all sewn up, but if the rest of you want to enter for second place, go for it!

    Ernie and I seem to have been training fur KEEP AWAY for MONTHS and didn't even KNOW it... We are DARNED good at THIS EVENT... Super Post!!

    Oh wow...that Pink sure is cute. Have I told you about the white boxers I see on my walk? They have a BIG front window and always say hello when they see us. Love love love.

    Keep away. I'm REALLY good at that if it's something I can't have. Hmm...we'll see about this one.

    What a great event you have to host. I know how much you woofies love to run and play so this will be fun. I think I'll be a roadie for that event. Diva Cats will sometimes run for something but once it quits moving we lose interests. MOL

    Oh I submitted my silly photo to Garth yesterday...way too much fun going on these days.
