Taking "Boxers" a little too far! Plus Frankie Friday

Okay, people, let me get something straight. Do you know why we're called "Boxers"? It's because we BOX with our front paws, just like my picture I showed you last week.  THIS is not why we're called boxers!

Can you believe these poor little guys? They were abandoned in a box at a Wal-Mart parking lot yesterday! Fortunately, somebody found them and took them to a shelter, and the shelter called LBR right away because they know Auntie Sharon is a sucker for a puppy LBR never turns down a boxer in need!

They're only 5-6 weeks old. Poor babies. Luckily they're pretty healthy, just a minor skin infection. They've got foster homes already, and pretty soon they'll be happy, healthy, and ready to find their furever homes!  Right now we're calling them Wally and Marty, BOL! They'll probably get new names when they go to their foster homes (they're at the v-e-t now), so I'll update you later with new names and new pics!

There's one other very important event today that I need to share with you.

Today Blogville is celebrating our esteemed mayor, Frankie Furter. Frankie was very welcoming to me when I started blogging, and I'm happy for everything he does for the residents of Blogville. I'm sending 87 boxer kisses to you today. Woohoo Frankie!!

  1. Hey Case-ster!
Wow, I'm so glad those cute little box pups found homes already! They'll make great packs, I'm sure. Thanks for joining in with Frankie day! He's totally stunned and thrilled.
    Grr and Woof,
    Sarge A Licious

  2. What kind of heartless fool could do dat? Wells, I am so glad dat somme kind, smart hooman tooks them to a shelter.
They is so precious and I knows they will find furever homes soon..I just knows they will.

Hehehehe...Frankie has just gots to be on cloud 9 right nows.

  3. OMD Casey stoopid humans make my mom spit 10 penny nails. Dag gone it.
they don't even qualify to be called human. The only good thing about leaving them in a box was they were too little to figure out how to tip it over. Why didn't they take them to a shelter. Thank goodness they have foster homes and will be raised in by nice peeps. Please keep us updated on Wall and Marty's progress.
Hugs Madi your BFFF and Mom

  4. OMG!! Mamma's a sucker for a puppy, a dog, a kitten, a cat... pretty much anything furry! Boy howdy, I could teach those babies all kinds of bad Boxer behaviors!

  5. Why are people so dumb? Umm...that was Mrs. Master not me.

Anyway, we are very glad that they are safe with you now. It it is so very fortunate that someone found those sweeties. I want to give them a big smooch and then teach them to play!

  6. OH THANK YOU fur the 87 BOXER KISSES... I would like to give Half of them to those poor little Boxer puppies, IF you don't mind. MY gosh... at that age they are still needin their Momma!!! HOW could anybuddy do that. GRRRRR

  7. Those poor babies. Well, at least they weren't left in a suitcase by the dumpster or somewhere they wouldn't have been found. They're in good paws now though.

We honor Frankie today with this brand new national Holiday!
