Howl-o-ween costume parade!

Happy Howl-o-ween everybody! I hope you're ready for all the excitement tonight! Little ghosts and ghouls everywhere, all coming to MY house to pet me! Until then, the boxers of LBR have put together a little costume parade.

Furst come the grand marshals, your host and hostess, WonderElla and Super Casey!!

Some Star Wars pups are next. OMG, it looks like Darth Vader (Bailey) is going to fight Master Yoda (Cleverly)!!

But never fear, Captain America (Brewster) is here to keep everybody safe.

Phew, that was a close call. Now super magician Barley is here to defuse the tension with the ol' rabbit out of the hat trick.

And everybody can enjoy our pin-up gal Danica...

And gorgeous George!

Hmm, looks like Darth Vader sent for reinforcements with Hooch the AT-AT!

Our resident witch Layla is going to keep everyone safe with some protective spells.

And Libby just wants some candy!

Uh-oh, things are starting to take a skeery turn! Here's Macadoo the Prince of Darkness!

But McCoy won't let anything stay serious for long!

Mochi says, "Swing for the fences!"

GI Joe (Powder) says, "Knowing is half the battle!"

And Pawverick (Taro) says, "I feel the need for speed!"

But Sluggeroo and Harley are just monkeying around!

Titus decided to play an elf after the office Christmas party. BOL!

Vaughn is James Brown!

And Zoe is a naughty librarian.

BOL! What grreat costumes, everybody!! Now Cinderella and I are going to head over to Dory's big Howl-o-ween bash. We'll see you there!

Throwback Thursday: Howl-o-weens Past, Part 2

Happy Howl-o-ween Eve, everyone! I hope you're all prepared for a FUN day tomorrow, with costumes and lots of little kiddos fussing over you. Last week I showed you some pictures of Howl-o-weens past. This year I'm finishing up! In 2012, We did a 50s theme. Momma wore her poodle skirt, and Cinderella and I joined in the fun.

"Summer lovin', happened so fast..."

Last year was super exciting because we had TWO costumes! We had one set of costumes that we wore to our dogtor's Howl-o-ween pawty. I was a magician, Casey the Magnficent! See my bunny?

"Alakazam! Presto treat!"

Meanwhile, Cinderella channeled her inner Chef Sasha and went as Woofgang Pup, world famous chef.

"Cook it for 87 minutes and it'll be pawfect!"

Finally, for trick-or-treating, we decided to be super groovy.

"Peace, love, and boxers, everybody!"

You've already seen our sneak peak for this year, but be sure to tune in tomorrow. We'll be having a costume parade of Legacy dogs, all strutting their stuff in their fangtastic costumes. Cinderella and I will make an appearance before we head off to Dory's pawesome Howl-o-ween pawty. It's going to be such a fun day!

Throwback Thursday: Ghost of Howl-o-weens past!

It's Throwback Thursday, folks! Since Howl-o-ween is next week, I thought I'd show you a few of my costumes from Howl-o-weens past. I've been quite the dapper dude ever since I came to live with Momma. We sit out on the porch to hand out candy and visit with all the kiddos, so Momma and I (and Cinderella, once she joined us) all dress up to match each other.

This is 2009, my very furst Howl-o-ween with Momma. We were pirates, yar!

In 2010, we did a bit of our own thing instead of matchy. So here I am in my handsome Scotsman costume.

And Cinderella went as her namesake!

And in 2011, I went as the all-powerful Sultan to match Cinderella the bellydancer and Momma the gypsy!

Want to see the rest of my costumes? Tune in next week for Throwback Thursday! And just wait until you see THIS year's totally pawesome costume!

Puppy Update

Remember the litter of pups LBR saved recently? These little guys are growing like weeds and FULL of personality!

Cleopawtra didn't think much of her furst baff!

Sweet Kya is a little camera-shy.

Bosco wants brother Levi to get up and play!

Levi biting the hand that feeds him. You've got a lot to learn, little dude.

The pups are growing so much that they have a spacious new apartment to live in. Pretty snazzy, huh?

My birthday!

Oh boy, you guys! I had the BEST Momma/Casey day for my birthday!! Momma promised me that we could spend a whole DAY together as a birthday present. We got started furst thing in the morning.

Where are we going, Momma?

She took me to a brand-new park! I'd never been there before, and it was soooo pretty.

But before we started exploring, we sat at a picnic table and Momma pulled out a special surprise.

Really, Momma? Just for ME?

Yummy!!

After enjoying my nummy ice cream cone, we went exploring around the park! It was so cool.

I wanted to have a chat with these guys and ask them if they know my furiend Goose, but Momma wouldn't let me get near them. Hmph!

Then there were these guys. I don't know what they were doing, but they had Marine flags and they did lots of shouting of "YES SIR!" I loved watching them, especially when they dropped to the ground and started doing push-ups. Better them than us!

They had a volleyball court, so I got to feel the sand between my toes. It was just like being at the beach!

I was not a fan of this bridge. It felt weird to walk across it. I was hoping Momma wasn't going to make me go over it again in this picture.

Sitting by the lake was much more my style! You can see I'm stylin' my brand-new Julius K-9 harness. It was an early barkday present from Momma.

The best part of my new harness is the pawesome BOXERPOWER label on it. It makes me feel like a superhero!

We walked all the way around the park TWICE. It was grreat.

Momma and I even sat on a park bench together and posed for a selfie. Except I didn't want to look at the camera. I was trying to catch another glimpse of my Marine buddies.

I didn't think the day could get any better. But THEN Momma and I headed to Sonic for lunch!

 Om nom nom nom! Cheeseyburger!!

And THEN we went to Lowe's. I love Lowe's! It's dog-friendly, but not many people bring their dogs there. So I'm usually the only one around and get fussed over LOTS! I had tons of folks coming over to pet me and fuss over me, plus I got to investigate all sorts of new smells.

OMD. This was just the best day EVER. But then when we got home, Momma said there was one more thing to do. She pulled out my Captain America bandana, which confused me a little. But then she pulled out Cap himself! He's my most favoritest superhero. We settled in together to watch Captain America: The First Avenger together, plus POPCORN.

This was just such an amazing day. I could barely keep my eyes open for the post-credits scene. I don't think I could've designed a better day. There was just one thing missing.

Ohhh yeah. That's it. Love you, Momma.

Love you too, Casey. Happy birthday!
